We’re Hisham and Christine β a dentist and an oral health therapist, a young growing family, and the owners of Clyde Dental Care. We opened this practice because we believe every family deserves a dental home that feels nothing like a clinic.

Dr. Hisham

Hisham is a dentist with over 15 years’ experience and the co-principal of Clyde Dental Care. He has a special focus on orthodontics β both early-intervention treatment that guides children’s developing bites and comprehensive orthodontics for adults, including braces and clear aligners (Invisalign and Angel Align) β with advanced training through Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, which now uses a number of his own treated cases to teach other dentists internationally. He’s also known for cosmetic and restorative work, from porcelain veneers to full-mouth rehabilitation, and provides the full range of general and family dentistry, including implants.
His approach is simple, and it’s the reason he built this practice: do the right thing for the patient, every time β honest diagnosis, the conservative option always on the table, real costs explained before anything begins, and no treatment recommended for the sake of it. He’s known for a calm, unhurried chair-side manner that puts even anxious patients at ease.
Outside the practice, Hisham is a devoted dad and a keen home cook, and is proud to be putting down roots in the Clyde North community.

- Bachelor of Science (Microbiology & Immunology) β University of Otago (2006)
- Advanced Training in Orthodontics β Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (2-Year Program), with selected clinical cases featured in their international teaching program
- Ongoing advanced training in cosmetic & restorative dentistry (veneers, full-mouth rehabilitation)
- Member, Australian Dental Association

Christine is an Oral Health Therapist and co-principal of Clyde Dental Care. She provides comprehensive examinations, professional cleans, preventive care and children’s dentistry, with a strong focus on helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
Christine especially enjoys working with children and loves seeing nervous little patients leave with a smile. She believes positive early dental experiences lay the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health, and enjoys helping patients of all ages keep their smiles healthy through prevention, education and personalised care.
Her approach is simple: take the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make sure every patient feels informed and at ease. She’s known for her gentle, friendly manner and for creating a relaxed environment where patients feel genuinely cared for.
Outside the practice, Christine is a devoted mum to a busy toddler and enjoys spending time with her family.
