Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers — no jargon.
Treatment time varies depending on the complexity of your case. Simple cases can take as little as 6 months; more complex cases typically take 12–18 months. Hisham will give you an accurate estimate after your consultation.
Some patients experience mild pressure or discomfort for the first day or two after switching to a new aligner — this is normal and a sign the treatment is working. It settles quickly.
For best results, aligners should be worn 20–22 hours per day. You remove them only for eating, drinking anything other than water, and cleaning.
Once treatment is complete, you'll wear a retainer to keep your teeth in their new position. This is a standard part of any teeth-straightening treatment — your teeth will shift back if you don't wear a retainer.

When to Assess
Around ages 7–8, when the first adult molars and incisors have erupted, we can assess bite, spacing, and jaw development.
Benefits of Early Treatment
Addressing issues early can guide jaw growth, create space for adult teeth, and may simplify any treatment needed later.
What to Watch For
Crowding, crossbite, open bite, thumb-sucking habits, or early or late loss of baby teeth are all worth a conversation with us.
