Christine, our oral health therapist, and Hisham, our dentist, both see children — from first visits to check-ups, cleans and fillings — with patience and a genuinely gentle, unhurried approach. The experiences children have early shape how they feel about dental care for life, so we make every visit calm, positive and unrushed.

Honest answers — no jargon.
The Australian Dental Association recommends a child's first dental visit within 6 months of their first tooth appearing, or by their first birthday. Early visits are about familiarisation — getting comfortable, not treatment.
Bulk-billed children's dental care is available for eligible patients under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). We check your child's eligibility at the time of booking. Gap-free check-ups are available for eligible children.
Keep it positive and low-key. Read books about dentists, play 'dentist' at home, and avoid words like 'hurt' or 'needle'. We handle the rest — our team is very experienced with first-time visitors.
Teeth grinding (bruxism) is common in children and often resolves on its own. Christine will assess whether it's causing any damage and advise on whether a mouthguard or other intervention is needed.
